Nyoma Airbase Upgrade: India has officially started using the Nyoma airbase in eastern Ladakh, this will strengthen its military power along the Line of Actual Control (LAC) with China. At the same time, Indian troops are carrying out a large military exercise called Eastern Prachand Prahar in the high-altitude areas of Mechuka in Arunachal Pradesh.

The operation of Nyoma airbase and the ongoing exercise in Arunachal Pradesh are part of India’s plan to increase its presence in sensitive areas near the China border. The timing of these activities is important because they come when India and China are trying to improve ties after years of tension. Still, many experts believe this step will have big geopolitical effects. The LAC runs for more than 34,000 kilometers, and India’s move highlights its strong preparedness and alertness along the border.
