BE CareEdge-ESG Rank: Bharat Electronics Limited which is also called BEL, reached a big moment after it received the CareEdge-ESG 1 rating with an ESG score of 73.8. This rating came from CARE ESG Ratings Limited, which is a SEBI-approved agency. With this top score, BEL became the first company in India’s aerospace and defence world to get the highest category rating from CareEdge-ESG. The company said this rating shows how serious it is about clean and responsible growth.

The CareEdge-ESG 1 rating shows that BEL works hard to run its business in a fair and safe way. The organisation pointed to strong leadership, clear reporting, and solid risk control. BEL spent many years building plans and rules that focus on better sustainability.

BEL began in 1954 and works under the Ministry of Defence as a Navratna PSU. It builds many advanced electronic systems like radars, communication devices, air defence systems, as well as missile electronics.
