BrahMos Missiles Strike Range: India is about to make its military even stronger with a powerful new version of the BrahMos missile. The Indian Army and Air Force will soon get these upgraded missiles, which can hit targets more than 800 Km away. The government has already given initial approval for buying around 250 of these missiles, and final clearance is expected soon.
The BrahMos missile is already one of India’s most feared weapons because of its speed and accuracy. Earlier versions could strike targets 300 km away, but now, after improvements, its range has more than doubled. This means Indian forces can attack enemy locations deep inside their territory without even crossing the border.

The new missiles will be placed in different areas, including deserts and high-altitude regions near Pakistan and China, ANI reported. This will give India a major advantage in case of any conflict. The Navy is also getting more BrahMos missiles, showing how India is making this weapon its top choice for all three military forces, land, air, and sea.
What makes BrahMos special is that it can be launched in many ways, from fighter jets, trucks, warships, and even submarines. This makes it very hard for enemies to defend against.
The missile was first developed as a joint project between India and Russia. While some parts still come from Russia, India is now making more and more of the missile on its own. Private companies in India are helping in this effort, reducing the need for foreign technology.
BrahMos is not just for India it is also becoming a popular export. The Philippines has already bought these missiles, and other countries are showing interest. This is a big step for India, which used to buy most of its weapons from other nations but is now selling its own advanced missiles.

Meanwhile, scientists are already working on the next version of BrahMos, called BrahMos NG. This new missile will be smaller and lighter, allowing jets like the Tejas to carry more of them. A new factory in Lucknow will build these next-generation missiles.
With the final approval expected soon, India will start deploying the 800 km-range BrahMos missiles, making its military even stronger. In a region where tensions are always high, this move sends a clear message India is ready to strike back fast and hard if needed.
