During the exercise, soldiers from the Shahbaaz Division showed their strength and teamwork. The Southern Command shared updates about the drill on social media.

In a post on X, it said, “In the Desert Sector, gallant troops of Shahbaaz Division under Sudarshan Chakra Corps, Southern Command, are executing high-intensity integrated manoeuvres in Exercise Maru Jwala as part of Tri-Services…The exercise validates synergy across land, air, sea and digital domains — leveraging niche technologies, unmanned platforms and networked fires.”

This means the Army tested how well it can work with the Air Force and Navy in many different areas like land, air, sea, and digital systems. The soldiers used new technology, drones, and network-based weapons to make the operation more powerful.

The post also said, “Reflecting the Year of Reform and Technology Absorption, the drills underscore Indian Army’s commitment to jointness, atmanirbharta and future-ready combat capability.” The Army is trying to be more modern and self-reliant, using more Indian-made weapons and systems.

Goal of Exercise Trishul

The Tri-Services Exercise (TSE-2025) Trishul brings together all three forces the Army, Navy, and Air Force. The main goal is to make sure they can fight and work together smoothly in any situation. As per a press release, the focus of this ongoing drill is to build strong teamwork among all the forces and test how they can handle large and complicated battle conditions.

The exercise includes big deployments like Indian Navy warships, Indian Air Force fighter jets and support aircraft, and also amphibious missions where soldiers and ships move together between land and sea. It shows how India’s defense forces can work together with full coordination.

The event also shows India’s progress in using indigenous systems, proving the success of the ‘Aatmanirbhar Bharat’ idea, which means being self-reliant. ‘Trishul’ is called a first-of-its-kind exercise after the successful Operation Sindoor, where India removed more than 100 terrorists.
