AXISCADES and MBDA Team Up to Strengthen Next-Gen Missile Systems in India

AXISCADES Aerospace & Technologies has announced a major expansion of its partnership with European missile maker MBDA and by doing this they are aiming to boost India’s defence production.

The friendship between AXISCADES and MBDA started almost ten years ago. In the beginning, they worked together to make advanced test benches for the MICA missile. Over the time this teamwork became stronger and turned into a full partnership that now covers missile launcher development and other advanced defence projects.

In the partnerhsip they want to help India make more of its weapons and technologies inside the country which fits perfectly with the vision of an Atmanirbhar Bharat (self-reliant India).

New Test Bench Facility in Bengaluru

AXISCADES opened a brand-new test bench facility at its Aeroland campus in Devanahalli, Bengaluru. This new place has modern tools and equipment to produce many advanced test benches for MBDA’s missile and launcher systems. The company said the new centre will help increase India’s defence production in a big way because it has large-scale production capacity and top infrastructure, reported Business upturn.

The facility will make it easier for AXISCADES to build more equipment and also test it faster. It will also create new jobs and give Indian engineers more experience with high-end missile technology.

Focus on Future Growth

AXISCADES is also setting up a dedicated MBDA System Integration Centre at the Devanahalli Atmanirbhar Cluster (DAC) in Bengaluru. This new centre will help the two companies work even closer. It will improve localisation and speed up production, and make India’s defence ecosystem stronger.

The company also shared plans for a new Missile Atmanirbhar Complex (MAC) in Hyderabad. This complex will be a big centre for largescale missile production. It will also help India make and export advanced missile systems in the future.
