Indian Air Force Arabian Sea Drill: The Indian Air Force is going to fly a large air exercise in the Arabian Sea for two days, starting from September 2 at 11 in the morning and it will end on September 3 by 2 in the afternoon. The place where the exercise will happen is almost 200 nautical miles far from Karachi but some parts of the area come even closer, almost 70 nautical miles from the Pakistani side.

Defence people said this is just normal training and not meant to show any fight. To keep all flying safe, India already put out a special message called NOTAM for airlines and pilots. This notice tells airlines to avoid the drill zone so that commercial planes do not clash with the military flights. These notices are used all over the world for air safety.

Doing the practice so near Pakistan’s air defence zone is very useful for the IAF. It lets them check how fast their planes, systems and communication work in a place where things can get tense. Exercises like this make pilots and crew ready for any sudden real problem.

The Arabian Sea itself is very important for India because many oil and trade ships pass from here, and India wants to protect these routes from both countries and groups that can cause trouble. By choosing this spot, India is showing that its air force is strong and ready to act if needed.

Even though Indian officials are calling it simple routine practice, Pakistan will surely watch this drill closely because it is so near their own zone. Whenever India does big activities near the border or sea, Pakistan takes notice. Still, by giving the NOTAM and following international flying rules, India is showing that it is doing things in a safe and proper way.
