Tiger Triumph 2025: The Fourth Edition of the joint India-US Humanitarian Assistance and Disaster Relief exercise, called Tiger Triumph 2025, ended with a big event called the Distinguished Visitors’ Day on April 11 in Kakinada. Important guests came to watch, including the Flag Officer Commanding Tamil Nadu & Puducherry Naval Area (FOTNA), the US Consular General, the Commander of the US Navy Strike Group Five, and the Deputy General Officer Commanding of the 54 Infantry Division. Many other senior officials were also there for the final day.

During this special day, both countries’ armed forces showed complex joint missions on land and sea near Kakinada. These included actions like Standoffs and Hard Beaching, which means ships going straight onto the shore, and Slithering Operations by Special Operations Forces who came down from SC and Mi17V5 helicopters.

According to a report, there were also aircraft displays with a C130 plane and air operations where the Indian Navy, Indian Army, Indian Air Force, US Navy, US Army, and US Marine Corps worked closely together. These efforts clearly showed how well the two countries can now work side by side in difficult situations.

Tiger Triumph 2025 was held from April 1 to April 11 and gave both sides important training in disaster relief and humanitarian missions. The soldiers and officers from both countries learned about each other’s methods, tools, and ways of working. The first Tiger Triumph was held in 2019, and since then, the main aim has been to improve how the two countries’ militaries work together.

This has been helped by the Logistics Exchange Memorandum of Agreement (LEMOA), which allows them to share logistics and also helps them use new technologies more easily.

During this phase, both sides held planning sessions and shared expertise on topics like medical services, drones, and space technology. There were also cross-deck visits, ship boarding drills, and friendly sports to strengthen ties.

A Combined Coordination Centre (CCC) was set up for joint missions, and a Joint Relief and Medical Camp was organized by the Indian and US medical teams.
