On November 29, Squadron Leader Padhi reported to the Governor after taking up her position formally. She was given a tour of the Raj Bhavan in Aizawl by its officers and employees.
Squadron Leader Padhi was stationed at the Air Force bases at Bidar, Pune, and Bhatinda prior to her recent assignment.
The post-nominal letters ADC are awarded to both present and previous aides-de-camp, as in India, where the term is considered an honour.
The President typically has five aides-de-camp (three from the Army and one each from the Navy and Air Force), whereas the service chiefs, who include the chief of the Army, Navy, and Air Staff, often have three.
One honorary aide-de-camp from the Territorial Army is also present.
