Israel and India Defence Partnership: Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI) and India’s DCX Systems Limited have joined hands to start a new company called ELTX. This partnership will help make India stronger in defence and support the Indian government’s ‘Make in India’ and ‘Atmanirbhar Bharat’ plans. The goal is to bring high-level defence technology into India and make it here, which will help India become more self-reliant.
According to Defence Industry, the new company will build modern defence systems like airborne radars and ground-based technologies. These systems will be made especially for India’s Armed Forces. The joint venture also wants to improve local production and make sure more of these systems are built using Indian workers and factories.
