Aero India US planes: The United States is preparing to showcase its latest aircraft and defence technology at Aero India 2025 in Bengaluru from 10 to 14 February. This will be the fifteenth time the US is taking part in Asia’s largest airshow. Officials from the US Consulate have confirmed that the exhibition will feature advanced aircraft such as the F-35 fighter jet, KC-135 Stratotanker, B-1 bomber, and F-16 fighter jet.
As the event approaches, the US has expressed pride in its long-standing participation. “The United States will showcase a range of advanced aircraft reinforcing the strong and growing defence and aerospace partnership between the United States and India, which share a commitment to promote regional security, stability, economic prosperity through diversified trade, and strategic investment ties,” the US Consulate said in a statement, reported by Money Control.
India has also made a big leap in air combat technology by unveiling a full-scale model of the Advanced Medium Combat Aircraft (AMCA) at Aero India 2025. Displayed at the India Pavilion, this is the first public look at the country’s 15ht gen stealth fighter a step toward self-reliance in defence.
Designed by the Aeronautical Development Agency (ADA) for the Indian Air Force, AMCA is a 25-ton twin-engine, multi-role stealth fighter. It features AI-powered decision-making, real-time combat coordination, an internal weapon bay for stealth, and predictive maintenance. AI integration will improve situational awareness, threat detection, and coordination with UAVs, making AMCA a world-class fighter jet.

US in Aero India 2025
More than twenty American exhibitors will collaborate with their Indian counterparts, seek new business opportunities, and present innovative solutions in aviation and defence. These companies will highlight advancements in unmanned aerial systems, fighter aircraft, advanced avionics, and defence electronics.
Jorgan Andrews, Chargé d’Affaires of the US Embassy in New Delhi, will lead the US delegation, which includes senior representatives from the Departments of State, Defence, and Commerce. “The United States is excited to participate once again in Aero India and to spotlight our strong defence ties with India. Our cooperation in defence, trade, and training is integral to our growing strategic partnership,” Andrews said.
Senior US officials, including General Kevin Schneider, Commander of the US Pacific Air Forces, Brigadier General Patrick Teague, US Mission India’s Senior Defence Official, and Chris Hodges, Consul General at the US Consulate in Chennai, will also be part of the delegation.
Since the last edition of Aero India in 2023, India and the US have strengthened their defence relationship, focusing on technology innovation, expanded trade, and increased cooperation in areas such as maritime security, cybersecurity, logistics, and counter terrorism.

General Kevin Schneider stated, “Aero India 2025 is an ideal forum to showcase US defence aircraft and equipment and ultimately contribute toward our compatibility and interoperability with other nations.” He also pointed out that defence trade between the two countries has increased alongside improvements in interoperability through information sharing, liaison officers, joint training exercises, and defence agreements.
The United States Air Force Band of the Pacific’s ten-member ensemble, Final Approach, will also perform for the public during Aero India 2025 at Christ University Auditorium in Bengaluru. The band, based at Yokota Air Base in Japan, will add a cultural element to the event, entertaining visitors with their music.
