The filing also made one thing clear. The promoter and promoter group have no interest in the companies giving these orders. Solar Industries said the deal is not a related party transaction. This new win adds more strength to the company’s defence order book and gives it a clear revenue flow for the next few years.

Defence Business Growth

Solar Industries has grown well beyond its old business of industrial explosives. Over time, it has built a stronger name in defence work too. The company now works in areas like high-energy materials, propellants, rockets, ammunition systems, drones and unmanned aerial vehicle technologies. Its defence segment has become an important growth engine, helped by demand in both Indian and export markets.
