NDA Passing Out Parade 2026 Date: The prestigious National Defence Academy is all set to host its landmark 150th Passing Out Parade (POP) on May 30, 2026, at the iconic Khetarpal Parade Ground in Khadakwasla Pune. Before the whole big military moment starts, a full dress rehearsal was held successfully on Thursday, where India’s military precision, discipline and also aerial prowess were demonstrated.
The Spring Term 2026 Passing Out Parade is a historic milestone in the legacy of the tri-services academy, it trains cadets for the Indian Army, Navy and Air Force all under one roof. Around 355 cadets are expected to march proudly into the next phase of their military journey during the grand ceremonial event.
Full Dress Rehearsal Held at Khadakwasla
Above Khadakwasla, the skies seemed to wake up during the rehearsal as fighter jets, helicopters and skydiving teams took part in synchronized aerial displays. The rehearsal was reviewed by Vice Admiral Anil Jaggi, Commandant of the NDA to make sure coordination stays smooth ahead of Saturday’s final parade ceremony and all the little signals line up.
One of the biggest attractions of the rehearsal was the breathtaking flypast featuring the powerful Su-30 MKI fighter jets. The audience also witnessed precision demonstrations by the renowned Sarang Helicopter Aerobatics Team and the Akashganga Skydiving Team. The Indian Armed Forces’ rotary-wing capabilities were displayed through formations by Chetak helicopters operating from Air Force Station Lohegaon.

Chief of Army Staff to Review the Grand Parade
The 150th Passing Out Parade will be reviewed by General Upendra Dwivedi, who will attend the ceremony as the Reviewing Officer. The event is expected to draw senior defence officials, military veterans, proud families of cadets, and invited dignitaries from across the country.
The Passing Out Parade is regarded as one of the most emotional and prestigious moments in the life of an NDA cadet. It symbolizes the successful completion of rigorous military training before cadets move to their respective pre-commissioning academies for specialized service training.
NDA Passing Out Parade 2026: Convocation Ceremony on May 29
Before the grand parade, the academy will also organize the Convocation Ceremony of the 150th Course on May 29 at Habibullah Hall inside the NDA campus. Reports suggest that former IPS officer Kiran Bedi is expected to attend the ceremony as the chief guest.
Located in Pune’s Khadakwasla region, the NDA remains one of the world’s premier military training institutions. Established to foster joint-service leadership among future officers of the Army, Navy, and Air Force, the academy has produced several distinguished military leaders over the decades.
