Indian Army Artillery Equipment: The Indian Army is working to make its artillery power stronger and faster. As part of this plan, the Army has placed a big order with NIBE Limited. This company is based in Pune and works in defence manufacturing. The new order will help the Army improve its ability to hit targets quickly and from very long distances.
Under this deal, NIBE Limited will build and supply many important items. These include ground support equipment, accessories, enhanced system projectiles, and ammunition. All these items are meant for universal rocket launcher systems. These launchers can use different types of rockets. Some of these rockets can hit targets as far as 150 km and even up to 300 km. This long range gives the Army a strong advantage during combat.

Big Contract Value
NIBE Limited shared details of this order with the stock exchanges. The company informed both the Bombay Stock Exchange and the National Stock Exchange about the deal. According to the company, the total value of the order is ₹292.69 crore. The company said it will complete the work in parts and deliver everything within 12 months.
As part of the contract rules, NIBE must also provide a performance cum warranty bank guarantee. This guarantee will be equal to 10 % of the total contract value and the amount includes all taxes and duties. The company has to submit this guarantee within 30 days from the date the contract is signed.
The order is linked to the Israeli PULs system, which stands for Precise and Universal Launching System. The Indian Army plans to use this system to improve deep strike and quick reaction abilities.
