Mistral Solutions Bags ₹100 Cr Radar Order Under Ashwini Programme

AXISCADES subsidiary Mistral Solutions won a ₹100 crore defence order to supply radar processing units for the LLTR Ashwini programme, supporting India’s low-altitude air surveillance systems.

AXISCADES defence radar contract: AXISCADES Technologies has a company called Mistral Solutions. This smaller company just got a big defence deal worth about ₹100 crore. The money is for built parts that help radars work. The radar this is for is called the LLTR Ashwini radar. This radar is made in India by DRDO and BEL, big defence groups in India.

The deal will last two years. During this time Mistral will give signal and data processing units and extra spare parts. These units help the radar think and work properly when it is looking for things in the sky.

This radar system keeps an eye on low-flying objects. It can see things like drones, helicopters, and fighter aircraft. These are hard to spot, but the parts Mistral is making help the radar do that job well.

What will Mistral Make?

The special parts Mistral will deliver are liquid-cooled processing units. These are computers that have to stay cool while working hard. They are built to work even when the weather is tough and conditions are rough.

This deal gives Mistral money it can count on over the two years. The company said it also makes Mistral stronger in the defence electronics business. This area is very important because India wants to make more of its own defence technology right here at home.

Mistral’s boss, C Manikandan (CEO of Mistral), said this about the order: “LLTR Ashwini programme win reflects Mistral’s continued commitment to supporting India’s defence indigenisation initiatives and contributing critical technologies to next-generation military systems.”

This means Mistral wants to help India build its own defence equipment instead of buying from other countries.

Other Defence Wins in India

AXISCADES works with the Indian defence forces and labs on many projects. It has offices in India, Europe and North America and more than 3,000 people working for it. Through Mistral and other units, the company helps build things like radar, avionics and electronics for defence.

Another company called IG Defence (formerly IG Drones) also got new contracts from the Indian Army and Indian Navy. They will use their own anti-drone system called the IG T-Shul Pulse Anti-Drone Gun. This system will help the forces protect themselves from enemy drones on the front lines. The Army deal comes after a contract IG Defence signed with the Indian Air Force last year.
