DRDO is the top defence research body of India and it comes under the Ministry of Defence. It creates and tests new systems for the Army Navy and Air Force. The organisation works on things like missiles, radar equipment, aircraft support tools, safety gear, and many other defence machines.
Meanwhile, CSIR is one of the biggest science research groups in India. It has many labs spread across different cities. Scientists at CSIR work in many fields like science engineering medicine chemicals environment and industry. They help in making new materials useful medicines improved machines and clean energy ideas.

They will also work on creating energy systems that can run without regular electricity. This is very helpful in remote border areas where power supply is weak or not available all the time.
