Adani Defence Joins Prime Aero to Fully Acquire Indamer Technics

Adani Defence, with Prime Aero, has acquired a 100% stake in Indamer Technics through Horizon Aero, aiming to build a worldclass MRO hub in India to support the country’s growing aviation industry.

Adani Defence Acquire Indamer Technics: Adani Defence Systems and Technologies Ltd has joined hands with Prime Aero Services LLP to take over Indamer Technics Pvt. fully. They did this by signing a final agreement to buy a 100% stake in the company. The deal happened through Horizon Aero Solutions Ltd., which is a Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul service provider in the private sector. Horizon Aero is equally owned by Adani Defence and Prime Aero. Prime Aero belongs to Prajay Patel, who is also the director of Indamer Technics.

Prajay Patel shared his excitement, saying, “We are excited to partner with Adani Defence & Aerospace to take Indamer Technics to new heights. This collaboration brings together deep-rooted engineering excellence with robust infrastructure and growth capital.” He also said, “Our shared vision is to build a world-class MRO ecosystem out of India, delivering exceptional value to customers and stakeholders globally.”

Strong MRO Hub in India

Indamer Technics has built a new greenfield facility at Nagpur inside the MIHAN special economic zone. This modern facility can handle up to 15 aircraft bays spread across 10 hangars. The company is already approved by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation, the US Federal Aviation Administration, and other top aviation regulators around the world.

Jeet Adani, director at Adani Airports, spoke about the growing potential of the aviation sector in the country.

“The Indian aviation industry has witnessed an unprecedented transformation, becoming the third largest in terms of passenger traffic. With the Indian carriers set to induct more than 1,500 aircraft in the coming years, we are on the cusp of a new era in aviation,” he said, according to NDTV.

He also added, “This acquisition is the next step in our push to establish India as a premier global MRO destination. It also reinforces our commitment to building an integrated aviation services ecosystem that strengthens India’s aviation infrastructure.”

Adani stressed the bigger goal of the group for the future of India’s skies. “Our goal is to create a single-point aviation services platform that is driven by world-class quality standards and customer satisfaction. As we have stated before, we are determined to play a pivotal role in shaping the future of India’s skies,” he said.
