CISF jawan falls from Train: A Central Industrial Security Force jawan named Jacob Thomas Minz got badly hurt after he fell from the Vivek Express near Duliajan Railway Station on Tuesday night. The incident happened near 9pm. Minz comes from Ranchi in Jharkhand and works with the CISF unit at the Security Colony in Duliajan. People found him lying on the railway track in a very serious condition.

Constable and Locals rush to help
The GRPF constable acted very fast to save the injured jawan. He pulled Minz away from the track so that no other train could hit him. Some local people nearby also came forward to help. Together they shifted Minz to a safer place and called for medical help.
The constable later described what he saw that night. He said, “I was walking along the track when the Vivek Express passed by. Then I saw the CISF jawan lying bloodied on the railway track. I immediately dragged him to the side, and some local people came to help.”
Doctors first took Minz to Oil India Hospital in Duliajan for emergency treatment, reported TOI. After checking his condition doctors decided he needed better care. They sent him to Assam Medical College and Hospital in Dibrugarh. Hospital officials said his condition is still critical and doctors are trying their best to save him.
