SAIC ABMS Digital Network Program: Science Applications International Corp. (SAIC) has been given a major spot on the U.S. Air Force’s ABMS Digital Infrastructure Network Developer work. The contract value is estimated at about $192.3 million, and the work sits under the Department of the Air Force’s ABMS setup. In simple words, SAIC will help build the digital base that lets Air Force teams move data faster and make quicker choices.

This job is tied to the DAF Battle Network, which is the Air Force part of the wider Combined Joint All-Domain Command and Control idea, also called CJADC2. SAIC says this network is meant to be a secure and resilient digital system that works across unclassified through TS/SCI security levels. It also brings together cloud tools, SD-WAN, cross-domain systems, data distribution networks, scalable transport, and data link modules at global sites, reported Stocktitan.
What will SAIC actually do?
SAIC’s part is not just about one small piece. The company will work on networking, command, control, communications, AI, cloud, and digital engineering. The aim is to move useful data to warfighters in real time, whether they are working from fixed sites, mobile setups, or edge locations near the field.
