In a remarkable display of resilience and empowerment, 32 women from the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) are set to undertake a high-altitude bike expedition from Srinagar to the scenic Pangong Tso Lake.

Officials revealed that the expedition, covering 1,400 km over nine days, will commence on Tuesday.

The event, which highlights the tenacity and skill of female CRPF personnel, will be flagged off by the CRPF Director General G P Singh from Lal Chowk in Srinagar.

Senior CRPF officers have lauded the expedition as a symbol of women breaking barriers and conquering formidable terrains.

Known as the ‘Daredevils’, these women bikers are part of a dedicated unit within the CRPF, which is the largest paramilitary force globally, playing a crucial role in ensuring internal security and tackling terrorism, insurgency, and extremism across India.
