CISF Tribute to 127 Heroes: The Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) held an event on Saturday to remember and honor 127 brave personnel who gave their lives while serving the nation. The ceremony took place at the CISF Headquarters in New Delhi, where Director General Rajwinder Singh Bhatti led the tribute and personally honored the families of the martyrs.
According to Lokmat Times, during his speech, the Director General praised the courage, dedication, and sacrifice of the fallen heroes. The tribute not only remembered the lost lives but also showed the CISF’s strong promise to protect the nation at all costs.

Earlier in the morning, Praveer Ranjan, SDG (APS), along with senior CISF officers and personnel, gathered at the National Police Memorial. They laid flowers at the Central Sculpture to pay their respects to the brave personnel. The families of the fallen CISF members also visited the ‘Wall of Valour,’ a special place where the names of all CAPF and Police personnel who made the supreme sacrifice are carved in stone.
The event also included a musical performance by the CISF band, which created an emotional atmosphere. Many CISF officers, their families, and personnel from different Delhi-NCR units joined the ceremony to show their support and respect. Families of the martyrs received a warm welcome and were taken on a special tour of the Police Museum. They also watched a film made by the CISF that showed the great bravery and dedication of its personnel in guarding the country.

In a deeply emotional part of the event, senior officers greeted the families and thanked them for the sacrifices their loved ones had made. The families looked moved and proud as they received this special honor.
The CISF is a large and powerful security force with more than 1,88,000 members. It currently protects 359 important locations across the country. These include nuclear plants, airports, space and power stations, ports, and even historic places and government buildings like the Parliament House and the Delhi Metro. The CISF also has its own Fire Wing, which helps 115 of the protected sites with fire safety.
This tribute event reminded everyone of the strong role the CISF plays in keeping India safe, and how much it values the sacrifice and service of every member.
