BSF K9 squad: The Border Security Force (BSF) of India is always alert at the country’s borders. But it’s not just the brave men and women who protect the nation. There’s also a special team of dogs that work with them. These dogs, called the BSF K9 squad, help in finding explosives, tracking enemies, guarding places, and searching during operations. They are very smart, strong, and loyal. But before they become part of this strong team, they go through a lot of training from a very young age.
According to TOI recently, the BSF gave people a rare look into the training of these special dogs. A video from the National Training Centre for Dogs (NTCD) in Tekanpur became very popular online. People loved it because the dogs were not only showing amazing skills but also looked very cute.

The video showed how these puppies start their journey. They first learn to follow simple orders like “sit,” “stay,” and “fetch.” Trainers teach them these commands with care and love. As the training goes forward, it becomes more serious. The puppies go through obstacle courses and drills that test how fast and smart they are. These drills look like fun games, but they are very important. They help the dogs become stronger, more focused, and able to make quick decisions.
In the video, the young Labradors can be seen running, jumping, and following their trainers with full energy. With every step, they grow better and smarter.
