According to a statement from the Navy spokesperson, their discussions focused on enhancing collaborative efforts such as Exercise Samudra Shakti, increasing operational cooperation, and tackling common maritime challenges like piracy and other illegal activities at sea.
Admiral Ali also visited important maritime facilities, including the Information Fusion Centre – Indian Ocean Region (IFC-IOR) and the Weapons and Electronics Systems and Engineering Establishment (WESEE). These institutions play a vital role in regional collaboration and improving maritime domain awareness.
