India and Russia hold meeting to boost defense cooperation and joint exercises

Bangladesh and India share many things in history, language, and culture. Strong bilateral relations point to complete cooperation based on equality, sovereignty, trust, and understanding that goes well beyond strategic alliances.

The cooperation has expanded, evolved, and started to serve as a model for bilateral ties both inside and outside of the region.

Notable bilateral defense industry interactions occurred in 2023 as the Chiefs of the Indian and Bangladeshi Armed Forces visited one another.

Under the invitation of the Chief of Army Staff of Bangladesh, who was in New Delhi from April 27 to 29, 2023, the Chief of Staff of the Indian Army visited Bangladesh in June 2023 as the presiding officer for the passing out procession at the Bangladesh Military Academy.
