From July 1–4, Admiral Dinesh K. Tripathi will be in Bangladesh on an official visit.
According to Economic Times, the visit’s objectives are to strengthen India and Bangladesh’s bilateral defense ties and look into new opportunities for naval collaboration.
The Navy Chief is expected to review the Passing Out Parade at Bangladesh Naval Academy (BNA) in Chittagong on July 4 and hold bilateral talks with his counterpart, Admiral M Nazmul Hassan, Chief of the Naval Staff, Bangladesh Navy, in Dhaka, the report continued.
India and Russia hold meeting to boost defense cooperation and joint exercises
Bangladesh and India share many things in history, language, and culture. Strong bilateral relations point to complete cooperation based on equality, sovereignty, trust, and understanding that goes well beyond strategic alliances.
