F-35 fighter jets: Israel’s Ambassador to India, Reuven Azar, has highlighted the importance of advanced military technology in gaining an edge over adversaries. Speaking about the F-35 fighter jets, which Israel already uses, Azar said that if India acquires these jets, it will give the Indian Air Force (IAF) a similar advantage in the skies. He shared these thoughts during an exclusive interview with IANS on Wednesday.
Azar explained that Israel has already received several squadrons of F-35s, and these jets have proven to be extremely effective in ensuring Israel’s air superiority in the Middle East. He believes that if India manages to get these advanced fighter jets, it will significantly boost the IAF’s capabilities. “Advanced technologies in the military are crucial for creating an edge over adversaries. The F-35s have given us that edge, and they can do the same for India,” Azar said according to Ommcom News.
Spain’s Ministry of Defence Secures Skydio X10D Drones in €18 Million Deal
Earlier this month, during Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to the United States, President Donald Trump hinted that the US plans to increase military sales to India by billions of dollars. This could include the supply of F-35 fighter jets. If India acquires these jets, it will join a select group of countries, including NATO allies, Israel, and Japan, that have access to this advanced technology.
Israel was the first country to receive the F-35 through the US government’s Foreign Military Sales program. The Israeli Air Force named the F-35 “Ha-Adir,” which means “The Great” in Hebrew.
The F-35 is known for its advanced features, including built-in sensors, radars, infrared systems, and electronic warfare systems. These features are integrated into the aircraft during production, making it more powerful and capable than many other fighter jets.
Indian Army’s Air Defence Gets a Boost with Smart Ammo, Lasers, and Microwave Weapons
The Israeli Air Force has praised the F-35 for its cutting-edge technology and effectiveness in combat. Azar’s comments come at a time when India is looking to modernize its air force and strengthen its defense capabilities. If the deal for F-35s goes through, it could mark a significant step forward for India’s military, bringing it on par with some of the world’s most advanced air forces.
F-35 fighter jets have already proven their worth in Israel, and if India secures them, they could provide a similar advantage to the Indian Air Force. This would not only help India’s defense capabilities but also strengthen its position as a global military power.
