Aero India 2025, Asia’s largest aerospace and defense exhibition, is all set to take place in Bengaluru from February 10 to 14, 2025. This year, the event is bringing in some major improvements to make the experience smoother and more exciting for visitors and exhibitors alike. From better infrastructure to stronger security, let’s take a look at what’s new at this highly anticipated airshow.

One of the biggest changes this year is an upgrade in infrastructure. Traffic congestion has been a major issue in past editions, but this time, authorities have widened approach roads and improved connectivity around Yelahanka.

Realtime traffic monitoring will help ease congestion, ensuring a smoother flow of vehicles. Additionally, free shuttle buses will be available from key locations in the city to reduce road traffic and make commuting easier for attendees.

Security is a top priority at Aero India 2025. To prevent any unauthorized drone activity, special red drone zones have been designated, and countermeasures have been put in place. Rapid Mobile Units will be stationed throughout the venue to handle any emergencies, and multiple mock drills are being conducted to prepare for quick responses to security concerns.

Improved Facilities for Visitors and Exhibitors

The exhibition area has been expanded and upgraded to accommodate more attendees comfortably. According to Financial Express, the new halls are well-ventilated, making it easier to explore displays without feeling crowded. More seating areas and rest zones have been added across the venue, and there will be extra food courts and refreshment kiosks, including Indira Canteens, in parking areas. Clearer signage will help visitors find their way around, and additional ATM kiosks, lost-and-found counters, and medical stations have been set up for convenience.

Enhanced Digital and Connectivity Services

Poor mobile network connectivity has been a challenge at previous events, but this year, temporary mobile towers and network boosters will ensure uninterrupted communication. The newly launched Aero India 2025 mobile app will provide live updates, navigation assistance, and event schedules to keep visitors informed in real time. To meet the electricity demands of the event, additional power supply provisions have also been made.

Aerial Displays and Aircraft Safety

The highlight of Aero India is always the stunning aerial displays, and this year will be no different. To ensure safety, temporary flight restrictions will be in place during scheduled aircraft demonstrations. A well-planned aircraft parking and refueling system has been put in place to accommodate both domestic and international participants without any delays.

Waste management has also been improved, with extra recycling bins and dedicated waste segregation zones to ensure aq cleaner, greener event.
