One of the instructions was to ensure the closure of all meat shops near the airshow site. The decision was made due to concerns that leftover food waste in public areas could attract scavenger birds, especially kites, which might lead to potential mid-air accidents. These birds pose a serious threat to aircraft, and ensuring a clean environment is crucial for the safety of the airshow.

The Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) and local governing bodies have been asked to take immediate action to prevent solid waste dumping in nearby areas. Officials have been told to keep the surroundings completely clean to reduce the risk of bird-related incidents. The administration is also working on emergency measures, including proper arrangements for ambulances, food stalls, water supply, and crowd management. Special German tents and helipads will be set up to handle any emergency situations.

Bengaluru’s Kempegowda International Airport (KIA) has issued an advisory regarding temporary airspace closures during the airshow. On different days, flights will not be allowed to operate during specific hours to ensure safe aerial displays.
