TVS and ALA Partnership: TVS Supply Chain Solutions has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Italy based ALA Group. The two companies now plan to work together in India’s fast growing aerospace and defence supply chain market.
In a stock exchange filing, TVS SCS said that India’s aerospace and defence market is worth around $28 billion. It also said this sector is one of the fastest moving and high margin areas in the larger industrial supply chain space. The growth is coming because there is steady demand for complex and mission critical logistics and procurement services that follow strict rules.

Plan to Offer Full Supply Chain Services
Under this partnership the companies want to create a strong working system for aerospace and defence logistics. They will provide full supply chain services for both production stage and aftermarket stage of aerospace and defence programmes. This means they will support products when they are being built and also after they are in service.
The big part of the plan includes working on defence offset programmes. They will also handle complex and regulated logistics and procurement services which need proper approvals and careful handling.
TVS SCS will use its experience from defence and utilities supply chain work in the United Kingdom. It also has aerospace and power systems operations across India and the Asia Pacific region. The company has skills in procurement, licensing, regulatory approvals, government coordination, warehousing, logistics systems, digital platforms and local execution.
At presentthel, TVS SCS earns about $140 million every year from its aerospace, defence and utilities business. Most of this income comes from defence and utility programmes in the UK.
Company Leaders
R Dinesh, Executive Chairman of TVS Supply Chain Solutions, said the partnership combines TVS SCS’ scale and strong India presence with ALA’s global aerospace and defence expertise, positioning the company to participate meaningfully in the global aerospace and defence supply chain landscape. He added that the collaboration would also help expand from aftermarket and in-service support to production programmes, particularly in aerospace.
Vittorio Genna, CEO and Co-Founder of ALA Group, said the tie-up reflects ALA’s focus on technical depth, operational excellence and long-term partnerships, and creates a platform for sustainable growth across multiple regions in both civil and defence aerospace programmes.
