TEMBO Defence, which is part of TEMBO Global Industries Limited, shared some big news today. The Maharashtra government has said yes to giving 100 acres of land to the company so it can build a new factory for arms and ammunition in Amravati. The land will come through the Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation (MIDC), and TEMBO has already got a comfort letter that shows the process is going ahead.
The company plans to use this large piece of land to build a manufacturing plant that will focus on making weapons and other defence equipment. This is going to help India become more self-reliant in defence and also support the government’s big goals under ‘Make in India’ and ‘Atmanirbhar Bharat’. TEMBO said that with this step, they are getting closer to helping India grow its defence strength with homegrown equipment.

The upcoming facility will not only create significant employment opportunities in the region but also play a pivotal role in strengthening India’s defence infrastructure.”
TEMBO Global Industries is already known for making metal parts that are used in many types of installations. These include pipe support systems, fasteners, anchors, anti-vibration systems, and other tools that are used in industrial, commercial, and utility setups. They also make parts for original equipment manufacturers. Now, with the new defence unit, TEMBO is moving further into defence work and will support the growing needs of India’s military and security forces.
