New Delhi: Force Motors Limited has received a major order for 2,978 General Service Vehicles from the Indian Defence Forces, further cementing its role as a key supplier of mission-ready, high-performance military vehicles. The order includes vehicles tailored to meet the operational requirements of both the Indian Army and the Indian Air Force, reinforcing the company’s legacy in the defence sector.
The Pune-based automaker, known for its rugged, off-road-capable vehicles, has long been a trusted partner of the armed forces. Among its notable offerings, the Gurkha LSV (Light Strike Vehicle) has gained prominence due to its durability, superior ground clearance, and high water-wading capability. Built for extreme conditions, its advanced 4×4 drivetrain ensures seamless navigation across rough terrains, from high-altitude mountains to arid desert landscapes.

Announcing the deal, Prasan Firodia, Managing Director of Force Motors, expressed pride in the company’s long-standing association with the Indian military.
