DRDO Weapons at Bharat Parv: DRDO is going to showcase a new missile called the Long Range Anti-Ship Hypersonic Missile. It will be shown with its launcher during the parade. This missile is made for the Indian Navy and is meant to protect India’s coast areas. Most of its parts like avionics and sensors are made in India. These systems help the missile find targets very accurately.
This missile is extremely fast. It can start flying at speeds as high as Mach 10 and later keeps flying at around Mach 5.0. It moves in a special path that is partly like a rocket and partly like a glide. It can hit targets that are not moving and also ships that are moving. The missile stays very low while flying and can change direction quickly.

The missile uses two solid rocket stages. In the beginning both stages push it to very high speed. After the second stage stops working the missile keeps moving without power. It glides through the air and changes direction until it reaches and hits the target.
Naval Technology Show at Bharat Parv
At Bharat Parv DRDO will also show a special display with the theme “Naval Technologies for Combat Submarines.” This display will focus on systems used inside submarines. One important system is the Integrated Combat Suite. This system helps submarines understand what is happening around them underwater. It helps commanders take quick decisions and guide weapons properly. This system was made by eight DRDO labs with help from around 150 industry partners. It is a big step forward for India’s submarine strength.
Another system on display is the Wire Guided Heavy Weight Torpedo. This torpedo is launched from submarines and can attack enemy ships and submarines. It is fast and can travel long distances. DRDO will also show the Air Independent Propulsion system. This system helps submarines stay underwater for a longer time without making noise. It uses phosphoric acid fuel cells that are developed in India. This makes submarines harder to detect.

More DRDO Systems
Many other DRDO-made weapons and systems will be seen with the Armed Forces during the Kartavya Path parade. These include the Arjun Main Battle Tank and the Nag Missile System NAMIS-II. The Advanced Towed Artillery Gun System will also be there. Missiles like BrahMos and Akash will be shown along with the Battlefield Surveillance Radar and the Anti-Tank Guided Missile.
