Boeing Alay Parikh: Alay Parikh is now the director of business development for Boeing Defense, Space & Security and Global Services in India. This new role means he will look after all of Boeing’s defence and services sales across the country. He is going to work closely with Indian defence customers and business partners.
His job isn’t just selling but also about building strong relationships and helping Boeing grow its presence in India. Boeing is also putting more focus on working with India’s defence sector, especially since the Indian government wants to buy more defence equipment made within the country and wants Indian companies to play a bigger role in that process.

Parikh’s Journey with Boeing
Alay Parikh has been with Boeing for nearly 20 years. Before he took this new position in India, he worked as the country manager in Singapore where he handled support programs for some major Boeing aircraft like the Apache, Chinook, and F-15. He made sure everything ran smoothly for those aircraft after they were delivered, taking care of repairs and other needs so that the defence forces using them had no problems.
Over the years he has worked in many different departments at Boeing. He has taken care of things like building strategies, dealing with suppliers, and running big programs. He has helped Boeing plan new ideas for its Global Supply Chain group.

He also helped design strategies for defence in the Asia region and managed offset programs, which are deals made with countries when selling defence equipment. On top of that, he worked with suppliers in countries where Boeing was still growing its network.
Parikh also worked on some technical projects. He helped design how supply chains should be set up and even worked as an engineer on the Boeing 787 airplane when he was at Boeing Commercial Airplanes.
