AXISCADES and OGMA join hands to Grow India’s Aerospace MRO

AXISCADES has teamed up with Portugal’s OGMA to strengthen aircraft maintenance and engineering in India, aiming to grow local MRO capabilities and support commercial and defence aircraft fleets.

AXISCADES and OGMA Partnership: AXISCADES Technologies Ltd has started a new partnership with OGMA, an aircraft company from Portugal. They signed an MoU to work together and make aircraft building and aircraft repair better in India.Both companies will work on fixing planes, doing full maintenance work, and checking aircraft safety for civilian and military use. They will also help with aircraft body design and certification.

With this partnership, AXISCADES will be able to support maintenance work for Embraer aircraft and other fleets in India. This includes VVIP and VIP planes, AEW&C aircraft and many commercial aircraft models.

Combining Skills

AXISCADES brings strong skills in aircraft design, avionics, radar systems, electronic warfare and drones. OGMA adds many years of experience in airframe and engine repair work. Together, they plan to look for business chances in India, the UAE and the MENA region. OGMA already works closely with big global aircraft makers like Embraer, Airbus Defence, Rolls-Royce and Pratt & Whitney. These links will help both companies reach more customers and projects.

Major Aerospace Hub in India

AXISCADES is also building one of the biggest aerospace and defence hubs in India near Bengaluru International Airport. This facility will have hangars, engine repair shops, a Welding Center of Excellence and advanced electronics units. With OGMA’s global experience, AXISCADES wants to grow strong local repair skills inside India.
