Airbus Chooses Indian Manufacturers for Key A220 Door Parts

Dynamatic Technologies and Aequs have signed a five-year agreement to produce complex parts for Airbus’s A220 aircraft doors, strengthening their global aerospace industry partnership.

Airbus Indian Manufacturers: Dynamatic Technologies Limited and Aequs Private Limited have signed a five-year agreement to make complex parts for the doors of Airbus’s A220 aircraft. Aequs will produce more than 200 detailed components using advanced methods like tool design, forging, machining, and surface treatments.

This partnership strengthens the relationship between the two companies, both important players in the global aerospace industry. According to Manufacturingtodayindia, Dynamatic’s CEO, Udayant Malhoutra, said the collaboration supports their goal of providing high-quality aerospace products while boosting India’s position in the global aerospace market.

Aequs CEO, Aravind Melligeri, added that the partnership highlights India’s growing role in the aerospace sector and aligns with the government’s ‘Make in India’ program.

Indian Aerospace Industry Expansion

Earlier this year, Dynamatic won a major contract from Airbus to manufacture and assemble A220 aircraft doors, one of the largest aerospace export orders from India. This agreement not only benefits Dynamatic and Aequs but also creates opportunities for other Indian companies to join the aerospace industry.

Dynamatic Technologies designs and produces specialized parts for aerospace, hydraulic systems, and security products. The company works with both Indian agencies and international aerospace leaders.
