Hyderabad Vigyan Vaibhav 2025: On Friday, February 28, something really exciting happened at the Gachibowli Stadium in Hyderabad. Students and teachers got a special chance to see India’s latest military technology up close. This event, called ‘Vigyan Vaibhav,’ was organized by DRDO, and it was a big hit with everyone who attended. School kids and engineering students were especially thrilled because they got to see real missiles, tanks, guns, and radars.
The expo showed off some amazing machines. For example, there was the hypersonic missile, which India recently tested. Other highlights included the Pralay missile, Pinaka missile system, Agni 5 missile, and the Arjun tank, which is India’s main battle tank. There were also big guns like the advanced towed artillery gun system and the 155 mm guns. One of the coolest things on display was the Rudram anti-radiation missile.
The kids were so excited that they couldn’t stop taking pictures with the missiles, tanks, and guns. Teachers also joined in, snapping photos of their students standing next to these incredible machines. Sandeep, a student in Class X, said, “I never thought I’d see real missiles. I always thought they were just models or toys!”
Engineering students, especially those studying electronics and communications, had an extra special time. They got to go really close to the missiles and radars. They also got to talk to defense scientists who explained how they could build a career in this field. Phanindra, an engineering student from the Institute of Aeronautical Engineering, said, “It was amazing to learn about avionics, radars, and missiles directly from the experts. I learned so much!”
