Desert Hunt 2025: From February 24 to 28, the Indian Air Force led an exciting and challenging exercise called Exercise Desert Hunt 2025 at the Air Force Station in Jodhpur. This special training brought together the best soldiers from the Indian Army, Navy, and Air Force. The Army’s Para (Special Forces), the Navy’s Marine Commandos, and the Air Force’s Garud (Special Forces) all worked together in a simulated combat environment. The goal was to improve teamwork, coordination, and efficiency among these elite units so they can respond quickly and effectively to any security threats.

According to The Hans India the soldiers performed airborne insertions, where they jumped from aircraft and landed in specific locations. They also carried out precision strikes, rescued hostages, and conducted counter-terrorism operations.
The training included combat free falls, where soldiers jumped from great heights, and urban warfare scenarios, where they practiced fighting in city-like environments. These activities tested their combat skills under realistic conditions, making sure they are always ready for any challenge.
Senior military officials closely watched the exercise to make sure the joint doctrines, or shared strategies, of the three forces were effective. This exercise also showed the Indian Armed Forces’ strong commitment to protecting the nation by working together seamlessly.
