Dubai Airshow 2025 will open on 17th November under the theme ‘The Future is Here’ bringing 1,500 global companies, 200 aircraft, and major innovations in defence, aviation, space.

Dubai Airshow 2025: With the support of Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, who is the Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, many important people from aviation, space, and defence gathered in Dubai. They came to talk about plans for Dubai Airshow 2025 and share new ideas on how teamwork and new technology will help make the event even bigger and better.

The discussions took place at a press conference featuring Dr. Ahmad Belhoul Al Falasi, Minister of Sports, and Chairman of the UAE Space Agency; Omran Sharaf, Assistant Foreign Minister for Advanced Science and Technology Affairs; Paul Griffiths, Chief Executive Officer of Dubai Airports; Major General Marwan Abulkarim Julfar, Assistant Commander-in-Chief for Port Affairs, Dubai Police; Mohammed Abdulla Lengawi, Director-General of Dubai Civil Aviation Authority; Expert Hamed Mohamed Al Sayed Al Hashimi, Dubai Police; Eugene Barry, Chairman – Dubai Airshow Project Board, and Chief Commercial Officer, Dubai Airports; Brigadier Mohammed Obaid Al Marshoudi, Deputy Executive Director of the Military Organising Committee for Dubai Airshow; and Tim Hawes, Managing Director, Informa.

The gathering showed a strong promise between government and business leaders to make Dubai stand even stronger as a global hub for aviation, space and defence before the Airshow starts on 17th November 2025, reported Big news netwrok.

Dubai Airshow 2025: Theme

This year’s Dubai Airshow will run under the theme “The Future is Here”. It will be the 19th edition and also the biggest and most future-focused one ever held. The event will highlight sustainability, AI-based innovation, space exploration, advanced mobility, and young talent development. More than 1,500 of the world’s top aerospace and defence companies from 47 countries will take part, and over 148,000 people are expected to visit.

Speaking at the event, Paul Griffiths said, “Dubai Airshow 2025 comes at a defining moment for aviation and aerospace, as technology, sustainability and global connectivity converge to reshape how the world moves. It reflects the UAE’s ambition to lead in these sectors and Dubai’s role as a hub for collaboration, a stage for innovation, and the place where the future of our industry takes shape.”

The Airshow will display over 200 advanced aircraft, feature 120 startups, and attract more than 50 investors. There will also be 350 world-known speakers giving 350+ hours of talks across 12 conference tracks, including 7 brand-new topics.

The event will see 490 delegations from 98 countries, 440 new exhibitors, 18 country pavilions (including one new nation), and representatives from 150 countries overall. There will be almost 100 chalets, 20+ static display pavilions, and 8,000 square meters of extra exhibition space making it the largest Airshow in history.

New Features and Experience

The 2025 Dubai Airshow will have four conference stages, including a new one, with sessions focused on sustainability, defence, and space. For the first time ever, eVTOL aircraft will join the flying display. The brand-new Airshow After Dark event will bring twilight runway experiences, music, and social networking. The Space Pavilion will be the biggest so far, hosting a two-day conference, interactive exhibits, and high-level meetings with global leaders.

From the largest Space Pavilion to the debut of eVTOLs and the launch of Airshow After Dark, we are creating an experience that reflects the industry’s energy and its drive to innovate. New fun activities are also coming. There will be a 5K run on the Dubai Airshow runway as part of the Dubai Fitness Challenge (30×30). Visitors will enjoy Youth Circles, the Inspiration Zone, SkyBites food areas by Emirates Flight Catering and Emirates Leisure Retail, and meet Falco, the official mascot. There will also be a Wellness Zone by XWELL, plus Dubai Health Authority’s Sensory Dome, Breathe In Pod, and health checkups from Saudi German Hospital.
