ATERMES AI-Powered Surveillance Systems: French security company ATERMES has shared that it will take part in the World Defense Show 2026. The event will happen in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, from 8 to 12 February.

ATERMES will take part in the event from the French Pavilion, where it will display its security systems. The company will show surveillance technology powered by artificial intelligence. These tools are built for military use, border safety, and the protection of important sites. They are designed to work well in high-risk places and can give clear information very quickly.

Saudi Arabia is increasing spending to upgrade its defense and safety systems. There is a strong push toward modern technology and growing local industry. Due to all these the World Defense Show is seen as a good place for companies and regional leaders to talk and work together.

Smart Systems for Land, Air, and Sea

During the event, ATERMES will present full surveillance systems that bring together sensors, AI software, and command centers into one working setup. The company will show systems like SURICATE, BARIER, Bird Repelling System, and the VIGGIL platform. These tools help detect threats, study data, and support action across land, air, and sea areas.

One key system on display is the Bird Repelling System. This system helps keep birds away from airports and sensitive places. It uses AI from SURICATE to spot birds and then uses sound and laser tools to scare them away.

Leaders’ Vision

ATERMES will also show VIGGIL, a system made to protect borders, military areas, and critical sites all the time. It combines cameras, radars, drones, command centers, and secure communication into one platform. It can be used for small locations or expanded to cover whole countries.

Lionel Thomas, Chairman and CEO of ATERMES, said: “Security environments are becoming more complex, more connected, and more demanding every year. Our role is to help operators stay ahead by delivering surveillance systems that do more than observe. By combining AI, optronics, and system engineering, we create platforms that transform raw data into clear operational insight, enabling faster, more confident decisions in the field.”
