Iran- India Naval Ties: Two Iranian warships, IRIS Boushehr and IRIS Lavan, have arrived in Mumbai for a friendly and training visit. The Mission Commander, Captain Mohammad Saberi, along with Senior Captain Seyed Ali Madani, who commands the Lavan, and Commander Hamed Bahramian, who commands the Boushehr, met with Rear Admiral Vidyadhar Harke, The Week reported.

Rear Admiral Harke is the Chief Staff Officer (Operations) at the Western Naval Command in Mumbai. During the meeting, they discussed ways to work together and shared ideas about training programs for their navies.
