GDIT US Army Training: General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT), a division of General Dynamics, has secured two major task orders worth $330 million from the Army Contracting Command in Orlando. These orders, awarded in August 2024, are part of the $975 million Mission Training Complex Capabilities Support II (MTCCS) contract, which focuses on providing simulation training for soldiers preparing for deployment.

The first task order, valued at $180 million, involves training soldiers across U.S. Army Pacific mission training complexes. This contract has a one-year base period and four optional years.

The second task order, worth $150 million, covers training services at the XVIII Airborne Corps mission training complexes, with a five-year base period and an additional six-month option.

Over the course of these programs, GDIT will train over 500,000 soldiers using live, virtual, and constructive (LVC) environments—realistic simulations that enhance combat readiness. The company will also provide technical and logistical support to ensure effective training operations.

“Advanced training capabilities are critical to maintaining warfighter superiority,” said Brian Sheridan, GDIT’s senior vice president for Defense. “We look forward to continuing our long-standing support to the Army with modern training services that will meet the demands of a constantly evolving battlefield environment.”

These two new task orders strengthen GDIT’s role in providing training support services for the Department of Defense. Earlier in 2024, the company received a $160 million task order to train soldiers at III Armored Corps mission training complexes.

In 2023, GDIT was awarded a $1.7 billion Flight School Training contract to support the U.S. Army and a $383 million contract to deliver training services for the Navy. These contracts showcase GDIT’s growing expertise in military training and simulation services.
