Upendra Dwivedi: General Upendra Dwivedi, the Army Chief, spoke to a group of important army officers. He told them about five big changes the army needs to make. These changes include using new technology, changing how the army is organized, training soldiers better, and making sure the army, navy, and air force work well together. He gave this speech at the College of Defence Management (CDM) in Secunderabad, where officers finished a big training course.

He said the army wants to be strong with new technology. They want to change and be able to make things themselves. The army wants to handle tough problems in the future. He said the army needs to focus on getting results, not just doing things by the same old rules. He talked about three steps: changing, getting stronger, and taking control, reported by ANI.

167 officers, including 14 from other countries, finished a big training program. This program teaches them how to make big decisions for the army. The Army Chief talked to these future leaders about many things. He told them about changing the army and helping the country. He told them to use their imagination, learn to change, and always be honest.
