IAAIIC: Advanced AI Training and AI Modeling Center

A collaborative ecosystem forms the backbone of the IAAIIC. The center acts as a hub, bringing together academia, startups, industry experts, and domain specialists to work on innovative AI applications. According got Thestatesmanm, the primary areas of focus include predictive maintenance to ensure equipment reliability, enhanced surveillance for improved monitoring, decision support systems to aid in strategic planning, and autonomous platforms for conducting complex operations.

Equipped with cutting-edge infrastructure, the IAAIIC houses a 1-petaflop supercomputer provided by the Centre for Development of Advanced Computing (CDAC). This facility supports advanced AI modeling and training. Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL) has partnered with the Army to provide the necessary infrastructure and IT support, while Army personnel oversee the centre’s operations.
