Astra Wins Radar Contract: Astra Microwave company works on designing and making advanced RF and microwave components used in defence, space, telecom, and weather systems and other. It plays an important role in India’s defence tech sector, supplying important parts for radars, communication systems, and satellites that are used by organisations like DRDO and ISRO.

Astra Microwave Products saw a boost in its stock price by 2.30% as it touched ₹971 after the company got a major order from the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO). The order, worth ₹1.35 billion, is for upgrading a ground-based radar system. This is a big win for Astra Microwave and the deal is expected to be completed in 18 months.
