PM Modi Heads to Saudi Arabia for Defence Talks on April 22-23

Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Saudi Arabia’s Crown Prince will visit Jeddah to discuss important matters, fostering stronger relations and cooperation between the two nations.

India and Saudia Arabia Defence: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will travel to Saudi Arabia from April 22 to 23. His visit comes after an invitation from His Royal Highness Mohammed bin Salman, who is both the Crown Prince and the Prime Minister of Saudi Arabia.

The Indian government officially announced the visit and said it would take place in the city of Jeddah. During this visit, the Crown Prince will give PM Modi a ceremonial welcome. The two leaders will also lead the second meeting of the Strategic Partnership Council, which helps both countries work together more closely on important matters.

The Ministry of External Affairs said that this visit will help India and Saudi Arabia build stronger relations and increase cooperation in areas that are important to both sides. Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri spoke about why the visit matters so much.

This visit presents an opportunity to further strengthen the already robust ties with this strategic partner. The Prime Minister and Crown Prince share a strong personal bond, marked by mutual respect, which has greatly benefited the bilateral relationship.”
