Dubai: A tragic accident at the Dubai Airshow 2025 claimed the life of an Indian Air Force (IAF) pilot after a Tejas fighter aircraft crashed during an aerial display on Friday.
The IAF confirmed the fatality in an official statement, expressing deep sorrow over the loss.

The indigenous light combat aircraft went down around 2:10 pm local time at Al Maktoum International Airport while performing a manoeuvre before thousands of spectators. Immediate rescue efforts were launched, but the pilot succumbed to injuries sustained in the crash.
