Akash Missiles in Op Sindoor: India’s Defence Minister Rajnath Singh told the Parliament that the country’s air defence system worked very well during Operation Sindoor. This operation was carried out to stop Pakistani air attacks, and according to him, it was a full success.
He said that the Indian armed forces reached every goal that was planned. Singh also confirmed that Pakistan failed to cause any damage to Indian military assets, and none of their missiles or weapons hit the target.
The Defence Minister explained that Pakistan started attacking on May 7 and kept firing till around 1:25 AM on May 10. During this time, Pakistan used missiles, drones, rockets, and other long-range weapons to hit India. But India stopped the attacks without letting the enemy cause harm. Singh said India used its air defence tools like the S-400 system, Akash missiles, and defence guns. He also mentioned that Indian forces killed around 100 terrorists during the operation.

Akash Missiles in Op Sindoor: India Responded
Rajnath Singh made it clear that India only acted to protect itself. He said this was not to start a war or to take more land. It was simply to stop terrorism and make sure India stayed safe. He explained that the Indian side acted in self-defence and not in a way to provoke anyone.
The Minister also said that the operation was stopped because India had already finished everything it had planned. Both political and military goals were achieved.
“To say or believe that Operation Sindoor was stopped under any pressure is baseless and completely incorrect,” the defence minister added.

He said “Under Prime Minister Modi’s leadership, India is no longer the country it once was. Today, dossiers have been replaced by decisive action. India no longer tolerates terror; it responds.
