6th cyber dialogue: India and UK Collaborate to Strengthen Cybersecurity and Create a Secure Cyberspace

India and the UK have agreed to enhance collaboration in cyber agencies to create secure, reliable cyberspace, following a six-day cyber dialogue.

6th cyber dialogue: According to the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) on Thursday, India and the UK have decided to strengthen collaboration between their cyber agencies to create a secure and reliable cyberspace. This location hosted the Sixth Cyber Dialogue between the two parties on Wednesday.

“Discussions during the dialogue included cyber-threat assessment, internet governance, data protection, protection of critical infrastructure, capacity building and cooperation in multilateral fora, including the latest developments in the cyber realm at the United Nations,” according to a statement released by the MEA.

“Both sides agreed to deepen cooperation between their respective cyber agencies to build a safe and robust cyberspace,” added the statement, according to Business Standard.

The discussion was co-moderated by Kat Jones, Head of Strategy and Engagement, Cyber Policy Department, Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO) of the United Kingdom, and Amit A. Shukla, Joint Secretary, Cyber Diplomacy Division, MEA.
