Gati Shakti Vishwavidyalaya in Vadodara has made an agreement with the Indian Navy. This agreement will help improve education, research, and training related to logistics for the Navy. The partnership focuses on teaching supply chain management, eco-friendly logistics, and using different transport methods.
The agreement was signed by Vice Admiral Deepak Kapoor (Logistics Controller, Indian Navy) and Prof. Manoj Choudhary (Vice-Chancellor, Gati Shakti Vishwavidyalaya). This plan supports the PM Gati Shakti National Master Plan 2021 and the National Logistics Policy 2022.

According to the Ministry of Railways, the agreement between Gati Shakti Vishwavidyalaya and the Indian Navy includes sharing real-life case studies on topics like AI, blockchain, and predictive analytics. This will give practical knowledge to both sides. Some Navy officers will also get the chance to earn degrees or join management development programs at the university.
Gati Shakti Vishwavidyalaya now supports the research and education needs of the Indian Army, Air Force, and Navy. Its focus on transportation and logistics makes it a leader in skill development and innovation in this important field.
