During the 41st Raising Day observance of the National Security Guard (NSG), Union Home Minister Amit Shah revealed significant outcomes of Operation Sindoor, orchestrated against terrorist factions in Pakistan.

The action, executed by Indian defence forces in May, successfully dismantled terror headquarters, training centres, and launchpads within Pakistani borders. It was a direct retaliation for the attack in Jammu and Kashmir’s Pahalgam.

Additionally, Shah announced the establishment of a sixth NSG hub in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh, as part of the government’s strategy to strengthen national security. The NSG, formed in 1984, is dedicated to counter-terrorism and securing high-profile targets.
