Arrive AI Autonomous Drone Delivery System: Arrive AI has announced a partnership with Modovolo to develop a new system for delivering packages using drones. The plan is to let drones carry packages to their destinations and place them directly into secure receiving stations without needing a person on the ground to handle the delivery.
Arrive AI is a company that develops technology for autonomous deliveries. Its system is designed to work with drones, autonomous mobile robots (AMRs), self-driving vehicles and human couriers. Modovolo, meanwhile, makes modular drones through its Lift platform, which can be fitted with different equipment depending on the job.
The two companies want to solve one of the biggest problems in drone delivery: how to get a package safely from the aircraft to the customer without leaving it outside or requiring someone to collect it.

How the New Drone Delivery System will Work
The partnership will bring together Modovolo’s Lift drone platform and Arrive AI’s Arrive Point™ receiving stations and Arrive OS software. The drone will fly to the delivery location and lower the package into an Arrive Point™ station. These stations are designed to keep deliveries secure and provide climate-assisted storage.
The system is being developed for different types of deliveries, including food, pharmacy orders and retail products. Modovolo’s drones feature modular payload pods, real-time kinematic (RTK) positioning technology and long flight endurance, reported Access Newswire. The companies are also working on a winch prototype that will allow packages to be lowered into the receiving station.
If the system works as planned, customers won’t need to wait outside for a delivery or worry about packages being left exposed on their doorstep. The goal is to make the whole process automatic, from the drone’s flight to the final handover.
Testing and Planned Launch in Indiana
Before the service becomes available to customers, both companies will test the system at Arrive AI’s headquarters. The teams will work on connecting the technologies, training staff and running practice deliveries that copy real-world conditions.
After successful testing and any required regulatory approvals, the companies plan to carry out live autonomous drone deliveries in a selected area of Fishers, Indiana. Customers in that area could order food and receive it by drone directly into an Arrive Point™ station.
Dan O’Toole, Founder and CEO of Arrive AI, said the main challenge in autonomous delivery isn’t flying the drone but making sure the package reaches the right place safely. He explained that Modovolo provides the aircraft while Arrive AI provides the receiving station needed to complete the delivery.

Justin Call, Co-Founder and CEO of Modovolo, said the company’s modular Lift platform allows it to develop different payload systems based on its partners’ needs. He added that the first step is to develop a winch prototype for package delivery into an Arrive Point, with the longer-term aim of supporting Arrive AI’s growing delivery network.
About Arrive AI and Modovolo
Arrive AI is listed on the Nasdaq under the ticker symbol ARAI. The company is developing a network of intelligent delivery stations that allow goods to be exchanged securely without requiring the sender and receiver to be present at the same time. Its technology is designed for use in logistics, healthcare and business deliveries.
Modovolo is a US-based drone manufacturer. Its Lift platform has a standard central payload area that can be adapted for different uses, including package delivery, military work and public safety operations. The company also uses large-format 3D printing and domestic manufacturing to simplify production and reduce costs.
